As an HMA Mortgage Loan Officer, your responsibilities include:
• Developing referral relationships through marketing, prospecting, and networking.
• Participating in events promoting homeownership.
• Developing, nurturing, and converting leads.
• Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of lending programs, policies, and procedures, serving as a subject matter expert for customers.
• Discussing pricing options and locking interest rates as directed by the borrower.
• Collaborating with Processors and Underwriters during your client’s journey to the closing table.
Communicate honest, accurate updates to all external parties.
• Maintaining an active NMLS License in states where mortgage products are offered.
Qualifications:
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform effectively in both team and independent environments.
• Proficiency in multitasking and task prioritization.
• Currently a producing Mortgage Loan Originator with a stable work history.
• Established database of referral partners or willingness to execute a success plan developed by Leadership.
• Obtain NMLS licensing.
