Job Summary: The Assistant Commercial Property Manager is a multifaceted role that covers lease and property administration, including rent processing, expense reconciliations and the updating of tenants’ records.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
* Maintain lease/property administration systems that ensures the accuracy of records and provides a timely review of lease notifications
* Assist with property management for office buildings, retail and hospitality assets.
* Oversee rent payment processing system
* Manage the day-to-day operations of commercial portfolio including all phases of maintenance for buildings and grounds.
* Vendor management, contract negotiation, and enforcement.
* Build strong tenant relations through direct communication.
* Develop and maintain annual operating budget, review and approve all CAM expense invoices, and monitor the collection of rents to avoid delinquencies.
* Prepare detailed monthly financial report for ownership
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in real estate, business administration, or equivalent work experience.
*Minimum two years of experience* in Corporate/Commercial Real Estate, administrative support and/or Financial Planning (or a combination thereof).
* A solid understanding of Operations, Lease Administration and Real Estate Financial and Accounting Principles *Strong proficiency in full Microsoft Office Suite, focus on Excel required*
* Experience in dealing with high-level senior executives while conveying professionalism.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills demonstrated*
* Must have the legal right to work in the United States
