Role:
The Real Estate Loan Servicer is responsible for the overall servicing of member home loans.
Responsibilities include accurate and timely payment process of rejected payments, taxes and insurance processing, and credit reporting.
In addition, this position is responsible for provided exceptional member service and maintaining compliance with required notifications and documentation.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Processes daily, weekly, and monthly reports to support escrowed taxes, insurance, PMI, credit report files, monthly statements, and late notices for the first mortgage real estate portfolio.
Produces and mails HELOC renewal letters and ARM HELOC rate change notices.
Reviews payment reports and performs daily transactions as needed for the mortgage.
portfolio, provides payoff quotes, and runs any necessary payment corrections.
Funds and completes post-closing duties for real estate production loan files.
Force places taxes and collateral protection insurance as required for non-escrowed loans.
Maintains and submits HMDA data for the LAR report.
Performs other related duties as assigned

Education: A high school education or GED.

Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
Other skills:
Mortgage loan or related experience required.
Must have good communication skills.
Ten key calculator, typewriter and keyboard skills.
An advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
Time management and organization skills are critical.
