Uppercrust has two artisan bakeries in Gainesville that specializes in homemade croissants, artisan breads, and classic French pastry.
Our service team puts the finishing touches on guests' visits through personal connection, and also manages a busy espresso bar.
You are our secret ingredient: we recognize and love the opportunity we have to make guests' lives a little brighter through what our bakers and you do.
The service shift lead works mostly in a direct guest service role, shoulder to shoulder with those you manage, and also carries the following responsibilities:
* Delegating side tasks, opening and closing tasks, cleaning tasks, and break times
* Training and reinforcement of best service and barista practices
* Communication hand offs between kitchen and service and shift switches during service
* Ordering paper products as needed
* Cash counting
* Completing an end-of-day admin log
