In this role, you will oversee the Visiting Student Learning Opportunities (VSLO) program, managing the coordination of medical student rotations at UF Health Shands and affiliated sites.

About This Role
Program Management
Coordinates the Visiting Student Learning Opportunities (VSLO) program for the College of Medicine.
Manages all UF and non-UF away rotation and elective applications including reviewing, processing, scheduling and onboarding.
Assists with process and tracking of Uniform Clinical Training Affiliation Agreements.
Works directly with faculty members and department administrators to administer, evaluate, and
expand the VSLO program.
Identifies national and international models of excellence and innovation in short-term learning
opportunities in locations away from student’s home institutions.
Administrative Support
Evaluates the policies and procedures for the VSLO program.
Participates in annual VSLO training and updates faculty and staff on relevant content.
Proposes processes to elevate student experiences and align with university and state-level
mandates and strategic plans.
Composes and maintains Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for program management.
Assembles and disseminates reports to respective stakeholders.
Fiscal & Budget Assistance
Responsible for ensuring all application and rotation fees are collected and processed accordingly.
Tracks deposits and addresses concerns for the monthly budget reconciliation.
Reports funds received from Foreign Gifts and Contracts monthly for UF Compliance and Ethics Office.

Expected Salary:
$48,000 - $50,000
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
Master’s degree
Foundational experience with educational programs
Sound judgement and decision-making
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Communicates effectively, professionally and timely with internal and external stakeholders
