Seeking a Research Coordinator to apply implementation science methods to evaluate and assess health plan quality improvement programs.
Work with team members to understand the requirements of the reports, assist in the design of tables and charts for reports.
Check health plan documents and submitted reports to determine health plan compliance with regulations and standards.
Participate as a team member in quality improvement activities.
Duties Include:
Evaluate and assess health plan quality improvement programs through review of performance improvement projects, quality assessment and performance improvement programs, and documentation of health plan compliance with state and federal regulations.
Conduct qualitative analysis of health plan documents and narrative.
Work with team members to understand the requirements of the reports, assist in the design of tables and charts for reports.
Review, edit, and format report narrative.
Manipulates data in spreadsheets.
Check health plan documents and submitted reports to determine health plan compliance with regulations and standards.
Use online and library resources to locate data, scientific and policy literature relevant to external quality review efforts and implementation science.
Participate as a team member in quality improvement activities to identify and implement approaches to maximize the quality and accuracy of evaluation activities.
Maintains knowledge of topics pertinent to assigned responsibilities, including, but not limited to, Medicaid managed care, health quality measures, quality improvement, and implementation science.
Expected Salary:
$50,000 - $60,000
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in public health or similar field.
Ability to work independently and conduct literature reviews.
General computer skills including competence with Microsoft Word and Excel, phone skills, communication skills.
