In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing visually appealing and user-friendly web pages while utilizing your skills in front-end design and WordPress content management.
As a vital member of our team, you will contribute to enhancing our online presence and ensuring a seamless user experience.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with our design and content teams to create captivating and responsive web pages using WordPress, but may need to utilize HTML, CSS and/or Javascript.
Implement design concepts, wireframes, and mockups to create engaging user interfaces.
Customize and update existing WordPress themes to maintain consistency across the website.
Update website content based on requests from faculty members and ETC team members
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive and visually appealing online presence.
This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate with a passion for web or graphic design and WordPress to gain hands-on experience in a professional setting.

Minimum Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience, or an Associate Degree and four years of appropriate experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
Experience with creating design-centric websites
Proficiency with HTML and CSS (not required, but preferred)
Familiarity with WordPress content management system (not required, but preferred)
Basic understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
Availability between 15 and 20 hours per week during the semester (if applicable)
