Job Summary This position entails using reporting services, Crystal Reports and SQL.
The Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining reports, while working closely with credit union departments to gather specifications and create deliverables.
Essential Job Functions Designing, Analysis, Development, Maintenance, Implementation using Crystal and/or Microsoft Report Builder Experience with RDBMS Extensive knowledge in SQL & PL/SQL programming, writing Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages using SQL Server Management studio, PLSQL Developer, SQL Plus, SQL Navigator Strong ability to research and manage complex data requests Exceptional knowledge of advanced SQL Superior ability to identify underlying cause of performance issues Sound oral and written communication skills Design reports with complex sub reports, Drill down, Cross Tabs, formulas, functions, parameters, scheduled reports, alerts, multiple grouping, running totals, Charts, graphs, mapping, multiple sections, mailing label.
Experience in report customization.
Experience in developing report specifications based on business requirements.
Modify existing reports and to develop new reports by analyzing databases, data sources, and structures.
Should be capable of re-designing or customizing the existing Views and Stored Procedures to suit the reporting needs.
Experience and Education 5 plus years of experience with SQL, reporting services and Crystal Reports.
Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or closely related field or a combination of education and experience.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Bachelors Degree major in Computer Science, Information Technology or closely related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience.
Solid technical knowledge of Windows 2003, Windows 2008, Windows XP, Windows 7, Microsoft Office, Microsoft SQL (various versions), Adaptive and SQL Anywhere databases, Crystal Reports, USERS Datasafe, Nautilus Imaging System, and a host of office Automation/decision support tools desired.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, members, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
