Come see what it’s like to be a ConfCat! *Summary of Position:* We are seeking an office assistant to support our Gainesville office and Conference Management business unit.
This individual will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our office by providing administrative assistance to various departments, ensuring smooth functioning, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the organization.
The ideal candidate will possess prior administrative (or similar) experience with high attention to detail in all matters involving written/verbal communications, time management, general organization, data management, etc.
_*Performance Evaluation:*_ Formal evaluations will be conducted in 6-month intervals by the VP of Conference Management to assess job performance.
*Responsibilities and Duties:* · Conference Preparation/Post-Event Support: o Packing for conferences o Printing/stuffing name badges o Keeping up with conference inventory & with the department head to reorder materials o Miscellaneous conference unit errands (examples include Trophy Shop, Target Copy, etc.
) · Office Organization o Keep the office space organized and presentable o Order office supplies as needed o Managing inventory of office supplies o Maintaining organization of storage closets · Collaboration o Work closely with other team members to provide seamless support across departments.
o Collaborate with managers to ensure smooth workflow · Administrative Support o General shipping tasks with USPS/FedEx o Collecting/distributing mail and packages o Assist in managing phone calls, emails, and other correspondence o Other duties as assigned _*Required Experience, Skills, and Education:*_ · High proficiency with administrative skills · Excellent written and verbal communication · Attention to detail and problem-solving skills · Strong organizational skills · Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work · Proficiency with basic computer programs including MS Office and database systems · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment · Must be available on a consistent part-time basis (approx.
20 hours a week) to work onsite *Compensation and Benefits:* · $13-$16/hour (Compensation is evaluated based upon skills, education, and experience.
