The Senior Accountant will report directly to the CFO and will execute complex accounting functions, including preparation and review of journal entries and account reconciliations, preparation of financial results (balance sheet, income statement and cash flows) for internal and external purposes, coordination of audit support, perform financial analysis, document processes and procedures.
Performs in an advisory capacity to operational business leaders on matters pertaining to business initiatives or strategies.
Serves as a subject matter expert and mentor to less experienced team members and resolves issues and navigates obstacles to deliver results.
*Primary Responsibilities*
* Applies GAAP to complex accounting transactions and demonstrates and understanding of key implications
* Leads special projects and coordinates with key stakeholders to ensure timely completion
* Collaborates and maintains strong relationships with business partners
* Acquires and applies advanced knowledge of the business to resolve issues and provide informed, proactive reporting and analysis to enable effective decision making.
* Assist with reporting to tax authorities
* Assist with financial planning and projections
*Qualifications*
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
* 4-5 years of relevant work experience required
* 3+ years of relevant work experience performing GAAP accounting, reporting, or policy
* preferred
* Audit experience preferred
* Advanced knowledge of GAAP
* QuickBooks Online experience is required
* Demonstrate ability to partner with other teams
* Advanced knowledge of data analysis techniques and statistical methodologies
* Advanced knowledge of relevant technical accounting and reporting disciplines
* Advanced knowledge in applicable Microsoft Office applications
* Ability to think critically and communicate effectively

Fulltime in office (8:00am – 5:00pm)
