Duties: - Process and post daily cash receipts, checks, and deposits - Prepare and send out customer invoices and statements - Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on past due accounts - Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies - Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing issues and disputes - Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or related field - Proficient in journal entries, account reconciliation, and revenue cycle management - Strong knowledge of coding, analyzing, and interpreting financial data - Experience with Quickbooks Accounting Software -Excel Wizardry required (but like entry level wizard, not Gandolf or Dumbledore) We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable processes, including cash and check receipts, invoicing, and account reconciliation.
This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial transactions.
As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for processing daily cash receipts and checks, preparing customer invoices, monitoring aging reports, and following up on past due accounts.
You will also collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing issues and disputes.
Strong analytical skills are essential for this role as you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, performing account reconciliations.
To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field.
Proficiency in journal entries, account reconciliation, revenue cycle management, and coding is required.
Experience with accounting software Quickbooks.
Knowledge of credit analysis and risk assessment is also beneficial.
