Role
To perform mid- to advanced-level analytical activities with minimal supervision.
Provide support in all budget, investment, ALM, Allowance and reporting activities.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Assist with annual budget development, including balance sheet and income statement forecasting.
Compile investment portfolio information, making recommendations to optimize cash flows, ensure adequate liquidity, and meet ratio requirements.
Coordinate with outside investment vendors to invest or liquidate funds.
Review and update liquidity projections on an ongoing basis.
Gather data and provide to the ALM service provider any necessary information.
Understand and review ALM report outputs for correctness and completeness.
Develop reports and draft presentation materials to effectively communicate financial performance that may be used by management, Committees, or the Board.
Recommend actions for consideration based on outputs.
Assist in data gathering and developing quality control review processes for the quarterly submission of the NCUA Call Report.
Compile, produce, and review loan loss analytics, while following accounting standards.
Compile and analyze financial information or data as requested by external auditors or regulators.
Assist management and staff in resolving financial issues.
Continually searches for efficiencies in operations both within and across departments.
Adheres to and follows all governmental policies and regulations.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills
Experience:Three to five years related work experience required.
Education:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Mathematics required.
MBA or CPA preferred.
A related field or a combination of education and experience that provides the necessary skills and knowledge to satisfactorily perform the essential job functions may be substituted.
Other Skills
Work frequently involves exercising advanced conflict resolution, giving material presentations, and resolving issues impacting multiple departments or divisions
Role also requires the ability to motivate or influence others as a material part of the role, with a significant level of diplomacy and trust
Obtaining cooperation (internally and/or externally) is an important part of the role and a high level of interpersonal skills is critical to the success of this position
