Job Title: Senior Accountant - Audit Compliance and General Ledger Management Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with a strong focus on ensuring compliance and expertise in audit processes.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing audit-related activities and maintaining the general ledger with precision and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities: Audit Compliance: Lead the preparation for internal and external audits.
Collaborate with auditors to ensure a smooth and efficient audit process.
Address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
Stay informed about changes in audit regulations and accounting standards.
General Ledger Management: Oversee the day-to-day maintenance of the general ledger.
Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
Review and approve journal entries to maintain the integrity of the financial records.
Compliance Monitoring: Monitor and enforce compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
Conduct periodic reviews to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
Implement and maintain processes that enhance compliance effectiveness.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement in audit and general ledger functions.
Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Streamline workflows to optimize the audit and general ledger maintenance processes.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather audit-related information.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Provide guidance to junior accounting staff on compliance matters.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA designation is a plus.
Proven experience in audit processes, preferably with experience in [specific industry].
Strong understanding of accounting principles, audit standards, and financial regulations.
